We are considering running a CLAiT course later in the year in partnership with WEA. CLAiT is a recognised qualification with three levels and may help people looking for work in areas that require such a qualification.
CLAIT is adminstered and examined by
OCR (Oxford Cambridge and RSA Examinations) who specialise in vocational and workplace education for learners of all ages.
The CLAIT qualification has three levels - New CLAiT for Beginners, CLAiT+ and CLAiT Advanced. Initially we anticipate running a Level 1 course however this does depend on the experience of interested learners. We would also like to hear from potential course members what days and times are best suited to this type of course.
A fee would be charged for the course, concessions are available and additional
financial support for those with particular circumstances may be available from the WEA .
The three levels are described by OCR as follows :-
